HSD Racing was formed in the early 1990s. From the beginning, HSD has been developing Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) for racing.

Early versions of the IRS Suzuki LT250R

were featured in-

	...Three years later in the June 1999 ATV Sport Magazine you can see how the same LT250R evolved into a high-speed well handling ATV with advanced zero-roll suspension geometry.

In the summer of 1999 the IRS quad's zero-roll A-arm suspension received (2) pairs of PEP ZPS Zero Preload System shocks. Triple rate fronts -and- Dual rate rears.
